Pricing Guide FAQs

At Fusion CPA, we understand that businesses have diverse financial needs at different stages of growth.

Our pricing models are designed to offer a solution for every stage, from startups to scaling enterprises.

What is the Subscription Pricing?

This approach is aimed at providing transparent pricing, reducing unexpected costs, and offering a more predictable way for you to budget for tax and accounting services throughout the year.

What does my Tax Subscription Fee include?

  • Income tax return preparation & tax return review
  • Income tax filing (electronic or paper)
  • Extension filings (US firms)
  • Estimated quarterly taxes (US firms)
  • Tax questions
  • Tax projections
  • Tax strategy optimization calls
  • IRS notice and correspondence support
  • Premium tax content access

Can I opt out and still do hourly pricing?

Our objective is to ensure that all clients are integrated into a single, unified billing system for optimal efficiency and consistency. However, we have identified some clients for whom continuing with hourly billing is more practical, particularly those experiencing significant fluctuations in activity year over year.  If you feel this applies to your situation, we encourage you to reach out to us for a discussion.

What is considered a customized Tax Service “Add-on”?

  • Prior year past due income tax return filings
  • Accounting/bookkeeping cleanup projects
  • Foreign/International filings (FinCen, FBAR, 5471, 5472 filings)
  • Multi-state expansion and tax filing compliance
  • Implementing stock options & equity compensation plans
  • Mergers & acquisitions and reorganization tax planning
  • Shareholder/Partner expansion
  • IRS Audit representation
  • Alternative investment tax strategies (e.g., hedge funds, private equity, real estate).

What is not included in the Tax Subscription?

  • Payroll tax filings
  • Sales tax filings
  • Beneficial Ownership Information (BOI) reporting

Why Subscription Billing?

For over a decade, Fusion CPA has assisted numerous business entities with diverse
tax needs and services. To better align with your needs, we’ve crafted a new model focused on transparent pricing, minimizing unexpected costs, and providing a predictable way to budget for tax and accounting services. This empowers you to plan your finances effectively, free from ad hoc uncertainties. Our aim is to foster open, frequent communication, encouraging you to reach out for catch-ups, brainstorming, or idea-sharing without hourly billing concerns.

Is it possible to Cancel my Subscription at any time?

We require a 30-day notice of cancellation for all pricing plans. If the cancellation occurs before the term concludes (term: Jan – Dec), you will not be eligible for our tax return preparation services.

Current Clients: What if my tax situation was more complex in the prior year and this coming year should be less complex?

In light of your particular circumstances, it would be beneficial for us to schedule a call to discuss the details of your situation. In our experience, we have noted that as life progresses, the complexity of tax and financial reporting tends to increase. Although certain aspects may stabilize in a given year, changes in tax laws, investments, income, and deductions typically introduce new reporting requirements. Over the long term, these changes often lead to an average increase in the complexity of both reporting and planning.

Are Corporate and Personal returns separate Subscriptions?

  • If the business’s tax return is filed separately from the personal tax return then it is a separate subscription from the personal subscription. Such separate business tax returns include, Partnerships, S Corporations and C Corporations.
  • If your business is a SMLLC or a sole proprietorship, the business’s activity is filed with the personal tax return and this would be included in one personal subscription.
  • Please note, a SMLLC that has multiple members defaults to a Partnership and files a separate tax return. A SMLLC that has filed a Form 2553 is an S Corporation and files a separate tax return. A SMLLC may also elect to be a C Corporation via filing a Form 8832, which would be a separate tax return. These would each be separate subscriptions.

Instead of paying the 2024 Monthly fee, can I Prepay it all at once similar to how I pay my insurance premiums?

Yes, we can set that up as well. You will just need to email us this request and we can set up the billing system accordingly.
